•     Hosting H.O.M.E in December

The New Life Program serves the community of Kent by providing financial assistance to those in need. Appointments are made on Monday for Tuesday morning interviews. Funds are acquired through offerings and gifts from the congregation.

Kent First operates as a distribution point for the Emergency Feeding Program. The food bank operates on Monday through Thursday morning from 9:00 AM to noon. Clients are referred to us by other agencies in Kent.

The church sponsors food, clothing and toy drives for the Kent Food Bank. Collections of items to help our needy neighbors take place at various times of the year.

We actively support the Kent Ministerial Association Jail Ministry with a staff of trained and caring members.

We have hosted homeless men for two montha at a time through H.O.M.E. (Home-less Outreach Mobilization Effort).

We share our building with the Ukrainian Pilgrim Church, Alcoholics Anonymous, Alanon, El Poderosa Church, and Kent-Meridian Cooperative Preschool.

Many of our members tutor elementary students after school.
